Morse code training printer, M.S., Ue.M.S.; manufactured by Siemens.
A number of Morse code training printers were probably procured for training in the Air Force signal companies in the 1950s; these sets manufactured by Siemens appear with slightly different designations.
A quick guide in the lid of the box provides information on how to operate the set.
The set can be operated from the AC mains or from a 4 V accumulator, the Morse key must be connected for operation and the audio of the morse signal can be monitored with headphones.
Morse code printer.
No active elements.
The set was developed by Siemens as Ueb.M.Schr., in Switzerland it was known as M.S., Ü.S.3 or Ue.M.S.
32 sets were acquired to be used by the Fl Uem Kp (Air Force Signal companies) at a price of 900.- Fr. each, according to the 1951 budget, the price was adjusted to 650.- Fr.
I would be grateful for any further information about the use of this set.
